A glass of tea is often the first thing offered to a guest in Afghanistan, and the pot is rarely empty for long. Green tea and black tea are both widely enjoyed, plain or scented with cardamom.
We offer tea as a companion to our saffron and cardamom, for households, guest houses, restaurants and shops. Add a few cardamom pods to the pot, or a couple of saffron threads to a cup for a special occasion.
